Ghoti Longboards

Welcome!

We want you to get the most out of your board. Although we originally designed each deck to meet a specific use, we're happy to build them to suit your needs. Want a flexier Edward for cruising around? Not a problem. Think a stiff Lotus would be great for downhill? That's fine too.

It's your board. Let us make it for you.

Sponsorship Competition:

That's right kiddo's, it's time to show us your best stuff. We have one sponsorship opening left which we will be giving away to the winner of the sponsorship competition. Your task? Send us a bio, including who you are, what you ride (it doesn't have to be a Ghoti), and why you ride. Also send along a video (at least 2 min) showing off your skills (both with a board and promotional) and explain why YOU should win. We're looking for creativity and enthusiasm! Don't be afraid to be yourself! (Hand puppets are acceptable.)

The winner will receive a free deck, t-shirts, stickers, and discounts on other gear!

Send all entries and questions to ghotilongboards@gmail.com by Tuesday, June 30th!

Check out this thread on silverfish ( Sponsorship Thread ) some of your questions may have been answered already.

Have a look at some pictures and videos of the entrants! Sponsorship Competition Entries

Ditch Slap 2009:

It's all over and done. This year had the biggest turn-out ever, there were over 60 riders! Lots of fun, lots of people got 'slapped'! We had a few scares, there were two news paper articles about ditch slap, and two local new stations said some bad things about us. Check out this thread on silverfish- News Coverage of Ditch Slap '09

The Syren did well! Placed 30th place at Calvary/Harper race and 20th place at Katenips ditch! This means that the Syren is now out of design stages, and is now for sale! Order your ditch board now.

Three Mile ditch was full of water, but the Manatee held it's own.

I rode the Caratacus on the cross town race. It wasn't the longest board out there (Joe from Time Ship Racing's board was longer.) But it did have the longest wheel base!

The Syren was awarded on Saturday to the owner of Durango Boards! Hopefully the competition likes us.

David Angelus got first place, and was awarded a Lotus!

SYREN PROTO. 1:

The first Syren Prototype is out of the press, cut, and almost ready to ride! We're looking forward to getting it out into the ditches and perfecting in for Ditch Slap.

A very voluptuous deck: the Syren.

Completes Coming Soon:

Ghoti Longboards will soon be offering complete setups. We will offer a suggested/standard setup as well as the opportunity to customize your setup yourself!  Like riding Pink Big Zigs in the front and Lime Big Zigs in the back?

Not a problem!

To get things underway we are looking for suggestions as to what trucks, wheels, bearings, and bushings you would like us to supply for you. Although we can make special orders when you order a deck, having things in stock will help us get your board to you quicker, and we know you'd rather be riding than waiting for that UPS truck to arrive.

Send any and all suggestions or questions to ghotilongboards@gmail.com.

Happy Skating!

Ditch Slap 2009:

As winter comes to an end it's time to get ready for Albuquerque's biggest skating event: Ditch Slap. What better way to do this than design a new board! With the help of TSR's James West Jr., we're currently in the process of designing a new ditch worthy deck. Although still on the drawing board, this board will be ready for its Ditch Slap debut. In fact, it will be the first place board for the Harper race! As soon as the first prototype is in order we'll be sure to post some pictures and video.
